Implementation of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) continues to transform the pharmaceutical supply chain. As the industry works toward the law’s 2023 finish line, HDA’s annual Traceability Seminar brings together healthcare supply chain leaders to learn more about upcoming DSCSA implementation milestones as well as innovative approaches and lessons learned as distributors, manufacturers and dispensers implement serialization and traceability technologies to further preserve the safety and security of the healthcare supply chain.
This year's Traceability Seminar had the largest attendance, with 450 participants. HDA, fellow supply chain colleagues, federal and state regulators and others heard from industry traceability experts as they provided details on the timelines for implementation, updates on industry pilot projects to support saleable returns requirements in 2019, 3PL perspectives, strategies for unit-level serialization and the challenges that need to be overcome as well as the key regulatory perspectives on the entire process.
Additionally, 21 table-top sponsors exhibited their innovative products and services during the networking functions.
This seminar is designed for pharmaceutical distributors, pharmacies and supply chain practitioners responsible for the implementation of traceability strategy, systems and processes in the healthcare supply chain.
