HDMA NAMES DAVID NEU AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS CHAIRMAN, TED SCHERR
AS VICE CHAIRMAN

ARLINGTON, Va., October 2, 2012 – At the third Annual Board & Membership Meeting in Manalapan, Fla., the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) announced the appointment of David W. Neu, President, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation, as the new Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors. Ted Scherr, President/CEO, Dakota Drug, Inc., also was named as the Board’s Vice Chairman. Mr. Neu assumes the role from David S. Moody, RPh, Chief Executive Officer of Mutual Wholesale Drug Company, who will continue to serve as a member of the HDMA Executive Committee.

“I am very pleased to continue to support the critical work of HDMA in my new role as Chairman, and to work on behalf of the distribution industry and in conjunction with the Association’s staff to help ensure the safety and security of the pharmaceutical supply chain and the health of the industry’s participants,” said Mr. Neu.
