HDMA ANNOUNCES NEW
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Arlington, VA – June 2, 2009 – At its Executive Committee and Board of Directors meeting on May 12, the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) announced the members of its expanded Executive Committee and Board of Directors. New by-laws passed at its previous Board Meeting in November, 2008 increased the size of the HDMA Board of Directors from its past structure of 13 Active distributor members to one representative (or corporate officer) from each Active member company and extended its Executive Committee membership from six to seven Active members.
“I look forward to working with this talented new slate of Executive Committee and Board of Director members,” said HDMA President and CEO John M. Gray. “The inclusive nature of the new Board will enable all HDMA Active members to be even more fully engaged in critical issues affecting the healthcare distribution industry. I am confident that together we will continue to make substantial progress in increasing patient safety, enhancing efficiency and adding business value.”
