PRESENT NEXUS AWARD FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT TO
INDUSTRY LEADER RON BONE
Arlington, VA – October 30, 2007 – The Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research (formerly the HDMA Research & Education Foundation) and Wyeth honored Ron Bone, McKesson Supply Solutions’ Senior Vice President, Distribution Support, with the 2007 NEXUS Award for Lifetime Achievement at the recent HDMA Annual Leadership Forum in Phoenix, Arizona. The NEXUS Award is the industry’s highest honor, recognizing leadership, exemplary service and professional excellence in the healthcare industry and the community.

Ron Bone has worked for McKesson for more than 33 years in a wide variety of roles, including operations, sales and financial management. In his current position, Bone oversees all company involvement in RFID, electronic Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS), SAP and field distribution network standardization. He also serves as a member of the HDMA Industry Relations Council, the Center’s Supply Chain Issues Research Committee Work Group, of the EPCglobal Business Steering Committee and as one of the three chairs of the EPCglobal Healthcare and Life Sciences Business Action Group.
