HDMA ANNOUNCES IBUSINESS SOLUTION AWARD WINNERS

ASD Healthcare, Lannett Company, Inc. and Axway, Inc. Receive Awards at the 2007 HDMA Distribution Management Conference & Technology Expo

ARLINGTON, VAJune 12, 2007 – Honoring the use of innovative technology to streamline supply chain operations and improve business efficiencies, the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) presented its iBusiness Solution Awards to ASD Healthcare, an AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group company; Lannett Company, Inc.; and Axway, Inc. at the HDMA 2007 Distribution Management Conference & Expo (DMC) in Boston, MA.

“The iBusiness Solution Award recognizes companies that have found innovative ways to further enhance supply chain productivity, safety and customer services in healthcare. This year’s iBusiness winners have achieved improvements and increased industry value through the through the use of cutting-edge technologies, products and services,” said HDMA President and CEO John M. Gray. “These HDMA members are leading long-term, positive change by developing dynamic solutions that address critical needs in the healthcare industry.”

In the Active Distributor Member category, the iBusiness Solution Award was presented to ASD Healthcare, an AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group company, for its RFID-enabled inventory management tool, Cubixx. This new technology further ensures patient safety by allowing ASD and its customers to remotely monitor product temperatures and product inventory levels. This technology enables ordering automation and inventory management, while also effectively reducing costs, ordering errors and manual processes.
In the Associate Manufacturer Member category, Lannett Company, Inc was presented with the iBusiness Award for their BedCheq Program. This chargeback analysis system dynamically integrates chargeback review and approval with SAP and EDI software. This innovative program processes and confirms inbound EDI customer chargeback requests automatically, effectively increasing productivity and efficiency.

In the Allied Service Provider Member category, the iBusiness Solution was presented to Axway, Inc. for the Syncrony e-pedigree system. This new e-pedigree system automates many paper-based processes to help customers further ensure regulatory compliance, and enables companies to link physical product movement with e-pedigree information.
