HDMA ELECTS NEW OFFICERS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ARLINGTON, VA — October 6, 2006 — HDMA elected new officers to its Board of Directors at the 2006 HDMA Annual Leadership Forum in Orlando, Fla. today. Effective immediately, HDMA’s new Chairman is Mark W. Parrish, CEO of Healthcare Supply Chain Services, Cardinal Health, Inc. HDMA’s Vice Chairman is Sandy Greco, Executive Vice President, Kinray, Inc.
The current HDMA Board of Directors includes: Jon Borschow, President, Borschow Drug; Ken R. Couch, President, Smith Drug Company; David S. Moody, Jr., CEO, N.C. Mutual Drug Company; Gary Prester, Vice President of Marketing, Dik Drug Co.; Michael Racioppi, President, Medical Group, Henry Schein, Inc.; George K. Richards, President, Capital Wholesale Drug; and Eric Schuss, Chairman, Bellco Health.
“I welcome Gary Prester as a new addition to the HDMA Board of Directors,” said John M. Gray, HDMA President and CEO, “and we look forward to working with him and incorporating his perspective in HDMA’s strategic planning for 2007.”
Members of the HDMA Executive Committee, composed of HDMA’s Officers, include: HDMA’s new Chairman, Mark Parrish, and Vice Chairman, Sandy Greco, as well as Christopher D. Mitiguy, Vice President, Burlington Drug Company, Inc. (Immediate Past Board Chairman); Kurt Hilzinger, President and COO, AmerisourceBergen Corporation; Paul Julian, Executive Vice President and Group President, McKesson Corporation; and David B. McQueary, Vice President, McQueary Bros. Drug Co.
