Active
Distributors of pharmaceutical and/or health-related products and information
The primary business of the distributor must be to purchase or receive pharmaceutical and health-related products in bulk quantities, inventory the products, distribute them in individual package quantities, and provide other value-added services including information technology to its suppliers and healthcare providers.

Its customers must consist for the most part of firms and institutions located in the United States, Canada, Mexico (or their respective possessions), Central America, South America, or the adjacent islands.

Associate
Any person, firm, or corporation primarily engaged in developing, manufacturing, or labeling health care, beauty care, and/or consumer products.

Allied
Corporations providing goods and services that include (but are not limited to) advertisers and consultants, public relations firms, media companies, brokers, hardware/software suppliers, and publishers who provide products and services to wholesalers and manufacturers that are not intended for resale.

International
Any person, firm, or corporation operating as a full-service drug wholesaler or in a healthcare-related business in a geographical territory other than that described under Active membership.
