Dr. Anne-Marie Aldrich, PharmD is District Pharmacy Supervisor, Palm Beach South #22 for Walgreen Company. She has been working in the pharmacy arena for 25 years and has been a licensed pharmacist since 1998 after graduating from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. During pharmacy school she joined Walgreen Company as an Intern, then Staff Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager and now Pharmacy Supervisor for past 10 years. Currently she supervises 36 stores in Palm Beach County. Dr. Aldrich works with the local health department on various projects, most recently flu vaccination awareness and now emergency preparedness, connecting Retail Community Pharmacy with the Health Department. |

Cathy Gallagher currently serves as Associate Section Chief of the Liaison and Policy Section in the Office of Diversion Control, and is responsible for overseeing the Liaison, Policy and Regulatory Drafting Units. These three elements support DEA’s mission by drafting and disseminating regulations; designing and proposing national legislation; providing leadership and advice on state legislation and regulatory initiatives; and communicating with industry and their representative associations as well as the Drug Enforcement Administration’s regulatory and law enforcement counterparts at the federal, state and local levels.
Gallagher began her work with the DEA while in college and was hired as a full-time Diversion Investigator in 1985. In this role, she routinely conducted inspections of DEA Registrants, such as manufacturers and distributors of controlled substances, as well as criminal, civil and administrative investigations of pharmacists, physicians and well-organized prescription rings.
Gallagher received a BS in Economics and Political Science from Regis University in Denver in 1984 and interned with the United Nations in Vienna, Austria in 1982. |

John M. Gray is President and CEO of the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA), the national association representing primary healthcare distributors. He reports directly to the HDMA Board of Directors and is responsible for overseeing all HDMA operations and activities. Gray also serves as President and CEO of the Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research, formerly the HDMA Foundation.
Prior to joining HDMA, he served as Food Distributor International’s (FDI’s) Executive Vice President and General Counsel. When FDI merged with the Food Marketing Institute, Gray became the President and CEO of the International Food Distributors Association (IFDA).

Mark Halperin, Editor-at-Large and Senior Political Analyst for TIME, covers politics, elections and government for the magazine and TIME.com. Halperin also is the creator and author of TIME.com’s “The Page,” a news and analysis tip sheet that gathers and edits the latest political stories, campaign ads, TV clips, videos and campaign reactions from every news source, along with Halperin’s own analysis. In addition, Halperin is Senior Political Analyst for MSNBC, where he appears regularly on Morning Joe and other programs on the cable channel.
Prior to joining TIME in April 2007, Halperin worked at ABC News for nearly 20 years, where he covered five presidential elections and served as Political Director from November 1997 to April 2007. In that role, he was responsible for political reporting and planning for the network's television, radio and Internet political coverage. He also appeared regularly on ABC News TV and radio as a Correspondent and Analyst, contributing commentary and reporting during election night coverage, presidential inaugurations and State of the Union speeches.
At ABC, Halperin reported on every major American political story, including working as a full-time reporter covering the Clinton presidential campaign in 1992 and the Clinton White House. He also covered major non-political stories, such as the O.J. Simpson criminal trial and the Oklahoma City bombing.

Dr. Erin Mullen is the Assistant Vice President of Rx Response for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). In this role, Dr. Mullen serves as co-chair of the Healthcare Sector Coordinating Council, an advisory council to DHS and HHS on such healthcare matters as Critical Infrastructure. She also is a member of the National Disaster Medical System as a Clinical Pharmacy Unit Leader. Her disaster deployments have included multiple hurricane responses, an extended deployment for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and the Haiti Earthquake.
Before joining PhRMA, Dr. Mullen practiced community pharmacy and then became the first Public Health Preparedness Pharmacist for the Florida Department of Health, bringing her experience as a field responder and clinical care provider to address public health preparedness issues requiring pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care.
Dr. Mullen graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy in 1992. She earned her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami in 2000. |

Jim Palmer

Jim Palmer, elected to the Hall of Fame in 1990, spent his entire 20-year pitching career with the Baltimore Orioles (1966-85). He is the Orioles' all-time leader in virtually every pitching category including wins, strikeouts, shutouts, complete games and innings pitched. He is the only American League Hall of Fame pitcher to win the Cy Young Award three times, and also earned four Gold Glove Awards. Palmer is one of only three pitchers in American League history to have won 20 or more games in eight seasons and one of only five pitchers in Orioles history to have his uniform number retired. Palmer had an 8-3 record with a 2.61 ERA in post-season play, and in 1983 became the only pitcher in baseball history to win a World Series game in three different decades.
Palmer's broadcasting career has included work for ABC TV, Home Team Sports and ESPN, for which he earned an ACE cable award nomination. He has been the spokesperson for Jockey International and The Money Store, and has served as the national sports chairman for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for more than two decades. Palmer’s charitable and community causes also include D.A.R.E., Arthritis, Alzheimer’s, Autism, Grant a Wish, Special Olympics and local recycling programs. |

Cynthia Reilly serves as Director, Practice Development Division for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). In this role, she oversees the Society’s work related to the quality and safety of medication use by serving as a frontline advocate for ASHP members to national health care professional organizations, government and other entities that influence patient care. She also serves as Secretary of ASHP’s Council on Therapeutics. Reilly began her career at ASHP in 1997 after graduating from Temple University School of Pharmacy. Since that time, she has served in a variety of capacities, including work in the publishing and continuing education groups. In 2006, she departed ASHP to serve as Senior Marketing Manager on the communications contract for the Agency for the Healthcare Research and Quality. In 2007, she returned to ASHP to coordinate the Society’s efforts related to therapeutic policy and the clinical role of the pharmacist. Most recently, she led ASHP’s efforts to co-convene the Drug Shortages Summit. Reilly’s professional interests include clinical policy, quality measure development and implementation and the use of social marketing to improve the translation of evidence to practice. |

Todd directs the Association’s policy efforts related to Medicare, Medicaid and health reform. Prior to joining BIO, Laurel advised pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and other medical technology and physician groups on Medicare coding, coverage and reimbursement issues at HillCo Partners, LLC (a public policy consulting firm). Laurel also previously served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Administrator and Deputy Capital Markets Advisor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in Washington, D.C. Laurel holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Georgetown University. |

Geoff Werth is Director,Federal Government Relations in US Oncology's Washington, D.C. office. In this role, Geoff directs the network’s federal legislative and regulatory initiatives; related public policy research and analysis projects; and public outreach and grassroots advocacy efforts in support of the network’s federal public policy goals.
Werth has been with US Oncology for more than two years and has been working in the legislative and political arena since 1997. Prior to joining the company, Werth worked for nearly four years in federal government relations for the American College of Surgeons. This followed seven years of federal legislative experience working as a Policy Advisor to Minority Leader Dick Gephardt (D-Mo.) and Congressman Bart Stupak (D-Mich.)
