Charlotte Smith is President of PharmEcology Associates, LLC, which she founded in 2000 to assist the healthcare industry in reducing and managing pharmaceutical waste. She co-founded Capital Returns, Inc., a nationally-known pharmaceutical returns management solutions provider in 1991, and for ten years served as President and Chief Regulatory Advisor. She is a member of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services. Smith is a registered pharmacist; she holds a BS in Pharmacy and a MS in Continuing and Vocational Education from the University of Wisconsin.

Ed Vianco is a CPA and is Vice President and Controller for McKesson Pharmaceutical Supply Solutions. He has more than 25 years of experience in various accounting and finance roles. Vianco is a current member (past chairman) of the HDMA’s Research’s Benchmarking Committee. Prior to his 11 years at McKesson, he served as Audit Manager at KPMG, a Big Four national accounting firm; as Vice President of Finance for a regional home healthcare company; and as Controller for a national real estate and hotel management company. Vianco holds a BA from Baylor University and an MBA.

He has been president of EPIC since 1999 and continues to lead this organization of his peers through the evolving business of independent pharmacy care.

Prior to joining GENCO Pharmaceutical Services/formerly Capital Returns, formerly Capital Returns, Williams served as the Director of Corporate Development for Edge Dynamics. He assisted with the strategic assessment of growth opportunities for the company. He also served on the HDMA Data Sharing & Management task force and HDMA Returns Task Force. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.

Chris Zimmerman is Vice President of Corporate Security and Regulatory Affairs for AmerisourceBergen Corporation. He has been in the healthcare industry for 25 years, the last 20 years with AmerisourceBergen, specializing in security and regulatory issues that impact pharmaceutical distribution. He is an active member of the HDMA’s Government and Public Policy Council and its Regulatory Affairs Committee. He is also Chair of the ASIS Pharmaceutical Security Council's Membership Committee and has the credentials of Certified Protection Professional and Certified Fraud Examiner. Zimmerman holds a Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton.
