Distributors and Manufacturers:
One-on-One Business Appointments are scheduled by Partnerlinx 2.0, HDMA’s online business appointment scheduling system. Partnerlinx 2.0 takes the guesswork out of planning business meetings with your trading partners. The new, user-friendly system intelligently matches your preferences with available appointment requests and generates your personal conference schedule.
Your company can use PartnerLinx 2.0 to:
- Set up business discussion topics;
- Upload a company logo and profile picture;
- Share promotional materials;
- Communicate with trading partners;
- Select and prioritize meeting requests;
- View the conference attendee list and plan your time based on your strategic goals; and,
- View, save and print your schedule of appointments.
Service Providers:
Once your company is registered and listed in the PartnerLinx 2.0 system, distributor and manufacturer attendees have the option to select your company for appointments. (Service provider attendees do not use the PartnerLinx 2.0 system to create appointment requests.) To assist you with the additional appointments, an advance registration list with contact information will be emailed to your conference coordinator the week of May 7, 2012.
How to Maximize Your One-on-One Business Appointment Experience
All attendees must adhere to the 20-minute appointment duration to ensure equal meeting time with trading partners. There will be five-minute breaks between appointments to allow for travel time. To take full advantage of each 20-minute appointment, it is recommended you bring a meeting agenda to help drive your discussions. In the unlikely event that you are unable to keep an appointment, as a courtesy to your trading partner, contact that person so that he or she can effectively use the open appointment time. Distributors and Manufacturers also have the option to block up to three timeslots for private appointments.
There are two breaks for any additional meetings you might want to hold during each half-day block. Time slots for all “open” appointment breaks are identical for all attendees.
HDMA is not responsible for rescheduling cancelled or “no show” appointments. |
