Internet Pharmacy

An overriding responsibility of our nation’s pharmaceutical distributors is to ensure the safety, quality, and integrity of the products they distribute. The Healthcare Distribution Management Association believes that every effort must be taken to make sure that counterfeit, adulterated, or otherwise tampered with drugs do not enter the marketplace through any point in the healthcare supply system.

Therefore HDMA believes that pharmacies should have minimum requirements in place to ensure the integrity of the drugs before providing Americans with prescription drugs via the Internet.
