Taking the Temperature: Cold Chain Best Practices

Webinar Overview
Healthcare distributors partner with manufacturers and service providers to efficiently and safely store, manage and deliver healthcare products every day. With the increasing number of products that require cold chain handling, the HDMA Logistics Operations Committee has been working to develop best practices for distributing these unique products. In this Webinar, explore how offering cold chain handling services adds greatly enhanced value for trading partners, builds and connects trading partner relationships in new ways and helps to improve the safety and security of the healthcare supply chain.

This informative Webinar is especially designed to:

  • Gain insights to handling cold chain products at the point of receipt, and how to best maintain proper storage conditions in the distribution center;
  • Review the elements of receiving, warehouse and storage, product transportation, documentation and customer-related items;
  • Identify ways distributors can demonstrate enhanced business value by providing cold chain handling services in the supply chain.
