Christopher Biddle

Christopher Biddle is Partner, Life Sciences Pricing and Contracting Solution Leader at CSC. He joined CSC in 2008 as partner in charge of the worldwide pricing and contracting practice. In 2006, he sold the assets of his company, Ideal Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise software and services to the pharmaceutical industry, to GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange). Christopher then joined GHX as a principal in its new GHX Pharma Solutions division, where he led the professional services organization in addition to providing expert assistance with the development and sales organizations. He holds a BS in mathematics from Ursinus College and graduate degrees in management and finance from Trinity College and the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

   

David Evangelista
Vice President, Contract Administration
McKesson Corporation

David Evangelista is Vice President, Contract Administration, for McKesson Supply Solutions, and has been with the company for 11 years. During his tenure at McKesson, he has held various management positions within McKesson’s Financial Shared Services Center. In his current role, Evangelista is responsible for McKesson’s pharmaceutical and specialty contracts, chargebacks, pricing corrections and contract audit functions. He has been instrumental in developing a contract administration process that yields greater than a 99.6% customer pricing accuracy rate. Prior to joining McKesson, he spent three years in the mortgage and investment banking industries as a licensed investment advisor.

   

Linda Ewald
Vice-President, Contracts & Chargebacks
AmerisourceBergen Drug Company

Linda Ewald is Vice-President of Contracts and Chargebacks at AmerisourceBergen Drug Company.  She has over 20 years of experience in the wholesale drug industry holding managerial positions within the areas of accounting, procurement, accounts payable, contracts and chargebacks, and is currently a member of the Order to Cash (OTC) team on AmerisourceBergen’s Business Transformation Project to implement SAP. Under Linda’s leadership, AmerisourceBergen successfully deployed a Business Process Management (BPM) software called Metastorm to support the Contracts and Chargebacks area resulting in efficiency improvements throughout the process. This achievement was recognized in 2005 with the receipt of the HDMA iBusiness Solution Award and Metastorm’s Enterprise Process Advantage Award. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned her MBA from LaSalle University.

   

Ed Gallagher
Senior Manager, Government Contracting
Cephalon, Inc.

 

Ed Gallagher is Senior Manager, Government Contracting for Cephalon, Inc. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years, beginning his career in finance and migrating to government contracting. Ed has held positions in chargebacks, membership and various types of contracts.  Presently, he and his team are responsible for calculating and reporting required government information, which includes Medicaid, Federal Supply Schedule and PHS-340B. Ed also is responsible for managing and overseeing the chargeback functionality at Cephalon.

   

Marcus D. Hawkins

Marcus Hawkins is Director of Contract Operations for McKesson Supply Solutions and has been with the company for 6 years. During his tenure at McKesson, he has held various operations and management positions within the Contract Administration Department. In his current role, Hawkins is responsible for McKesson’s pharmaceutical contract and chargeback operations and continues to lead the activities that drive efficiencies in McKesson’s core transactional processes.

   
Susan Jackson

Cardinal Health, Inc.
Susan serves as the Director of Customer Operations for Cardinal Health, Inc. She is responsible for order management, customer service, accounts receivable, returns (physical and financial), chargeback processing and government reporting. Previously, she spent 23 years in health benefits and managed care in the insurance industry. She has a background in financial underwriting and all facets of insurance operations with Willis, an international insurance brokerage firm, and CNA, a multi-line insurance carrier.  Jackson received her BS in Education from James Madison University.
   

Katie Lapins

Katie Lapins is Director, Senior Compliance Specialist for Compliance Implementation Services, LLC. Lapins specializes in government programs and corporate compliance for small to mid-tier manufacturers.  She has over nine years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in the areas of commercial and government contracting, compliance, finance and sales operations.  Lapins’ experience in the industry includes government contracts, rebates, pricing, specialty pharmaceutical distribution agreements and commercial contract management. As a consultant, she works with pharmaceutical manufacturers in the areas of corporate compliance, contracting strategies and government programs, including the development of policies and procedures, compliance assessments, methodology review and development, Class of Trade assignment and PHS eligibility.  Additionally, Lapins has participated in OIG and corporate compliance program development, self-reporting and voluntary restatements.

Heather S. McCreary

Heather S. McCreary, Director of Contracts & Supplier Strategy for AmerisourceBergen, has more than 16 years experience in supply chain management, purchasing, contract negotiations and operations management. Her experience in providing supply chain and contract administration leadership includes industries such as financial services, construction/real estate, utilities and aerospace. McCreary is practiced in leading IT integration strategies of ERP financial and supply chain applications. In her current role, she is responsible for providing strategic direction for the contract administration and supplier management business units. McCreary holds a BA in Economics from Millersville University and an MBA from Eastern University.

   

Jay McKinley

Cephalon, Inc.

 

Jay McKinley is Senior Director of Contract Operations at Cephalon, Inc.  His department has responsibilities for the commercial and government contract operations functions and their respective reporting requirements including all aspects of the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, various state pharmaceutical assistance rebate programs, VA/DoD contracting, Medicare Part D and PHS pricing.  Prior to joining Cephalon, Inc. in 2001, he spent five years working for AstraZeneca managing the Government Contracts Operations Group.  Previous to his tenure at AstraZeneca, Jay spent eight years working for SmithKline Beecham and four years at Coca Cola before entering the pharmaceutical industry.  McKinley received his BS in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Wayne State University.

   

Heather Paton

Heather Paton is Senior Director of Pharmacy Contract Management for Novation, LLC. She is responsibile for Novation’s pharmacy contracting strategy and operations in the areas of generics, distribution and customer-facing analysis reports. Prior to joining Novation in 2003, Heather worked for McKesson for 13 years, and her last role was Vice President of Marketing Strategy for their health systems drug distribution business. At McKesson,  her experiences included managing RFP responses, contract development, profitability modeling, marketing, communications, consultative sales process training, CRM system selection and IT project management. Heather is a trained Six Sigma Champion and skilled the areas of detailed process mapping and root cause problem analysis. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Gonzaga University.

   

Gopkiran Rao

Gop Rao is Senior Director of Life Science Industry Marketing at Model N, Inc.. He brings extensive knowledge of revenue management best practices garnered from leading value assessment, product definition, and services implementations for Top 20 medical technology and pharmaceutical companies. In his current role, he is responsible for the go-to-market strategy for Model N, Inc.’s life sciences vertical. Gop has previously held senior positions in software and technology consulting and publishing. He holds a BA in Economics from St. Stephen’s College at the University of Delhi, a J.D. from the University of Mumbai, and an MBA from the Fisher Graduate School of International Business at the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

   

David N. Rogers

David N. Rogers is President of Rogers Health Care Consulting, LTD where his company specializes in developing information management systems for healthcare manufacturers and distributors. Prior to this position, he retired as Vice President of  Integration at Neomedacq, Inc. in March 2003, a position he held from July 2002. Neomedacq is comprised of two operating units: a HPIS a med/surg market intelligence company and med-ecom; and a contract management outsourcing business also catering to the med/surg industry. His previous experience includes working in a consulting capacity as the General Manager for the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) Service Corporation from September 1994 to December 2000. In this role he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the for-profit subsidiary of HDMA. Rogers directed the creation of the HEALTHCOM® / Sterling Commerce Alliance. This Alliance introduced the HEALTHCOM® Connection Catalog Service, Material Safety Data Sheet Service. Rogers received his BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the University of Evansville.

Larri Short, Esq., is a Partner in the Health Law Group at Arent Fox, PLLC. Short focuses on healthcare regulatory matters, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement; Medicaid and state supplemental drug rebate programs; PHS and VA pricing; fraud and abuse; and sales, marketing and clinical trial compliance issues. Short has represented healthcare provider and pharmaceutical clients in qui tam actions filed under federal and state False Claims Acts and is involved in the defense of pharmaceutical clients. Short holds a BS from the University of Michigan, an MA from Duke University and a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

   

Richard Tulio

Richard Tulio is President and co-founder of S/T Health Group Consulting, Inc. and has over 25 years of experience in pharmacy operations and management. His extensive background in pharmacy contracting, purchasing, experience with the pharmaceutical supply chain industry, and strong understanding of information technology enable him to lead the development of progressive services for today’s ever changing healthcare supply chain environment. Prior to establishing S/T Health Group Consulting, Inc. in 1998, Richard worked with Owen Healthcare (now a Cardinal Health company) in various roles in pharmacy operations and purchasing where he focused on design of systems for monitoring purchasing trends and cost avoidance, project management of new pharmacy operations, and developed sales for Owen’s Meditrol automation division.
