John M. Gray President & CEO John M. Gray has served as HDMA's President & Chief Executive Officer since April 2004. Prior to joining HDMA, Gray served for eight years as Food Distributor International’s (FDI’s) Executive Vice President & General Counsel. When FDI merged with the Food Marketing Institute, Gray became President & CEO of IFDA, which formed to represent foodservice distributors in 2003. From 1987 to 1994, Gray served as Vice President of Education and as Industry Affairs Counsel for the Grocery Manufacturers of America. Gray holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctor’s degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.		Ann W. Bittman Executive Vice President & COO Ann W. Bittman is HDMA’s Executive Vice President and COO.  She joined the association in June of 2008 as its Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration and CFO. Previously, she served for ten years at the American Forest & Paper Association as its Vice President, Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer. She also worked in a variety of roles at the Grocery Manufacturers Association, ending her service as the association’s Director, Finance & Personnel. Ann graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Association Executive. Ann has served as a member of the IRS Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities and on the Board of the Directors of the Congressional Hunger Center.
