Sharyn C. Leaver
Vice President, Research Director
Forrester Research, Inc.

Sharyn C. Leaver is Vice President and Research Director at Forrester Research, Inc. Leaver leads research on best practices for managing process and applications that support product and service delivery, with a focus on process efficiency and innovation. She delivers strategic guidance, helping enterprises identify best practices, build process management architectures and identify vendors and technologies that help support continuous process improvement. Her current research agenda includes BPM, ERP and supply chain management. She also maintains a research interest in RFID, as well as other emerging technologies in consumer-driven industries.

   
Michael Lipton
Director of Strategy, RFID/Supply Chain Management
SAP

Michael Lipton joined SAP in 1998, and he currently is the Director of Strategy for RFID/Supply Chain Management. Lipton has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain management consulting and solutions design. Prior to SAP, he led the Supply Chain Consulting practice at Gensym Corporation, where his group delivered planning and scheduling solutions to process, consumer and high-tech customers. Lipton was a founder and principal of the ITP Group, where he was VP of Development in supply chain and factory automation systems. Lipton holds a BS in Chemistry from MIT and an MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

   
Shay Reid
Vice President, Finance & Administration
AmerisourceBergen Corporation
  Shay Reid is the Vice President of Integrated Solutions at AmerisourceBergen Corporation, where he leads the implementation of technologies and processes that help ensure patient safety as products move through the pharmaceutical supply chain. Reid has been with AmerisourceBergen Corporation for five years where he has led the design, build and start-up or two of AmerisourceBergen’s state-of-the-art distribution centers, and led the design and implementation of electronic pedigree to meet the Florida pedigree law. Prior to AmerisourceBergen, Reid worked in a variety of industries as both an employee and a consultant, including consumer products, mass merchandising, uniform and apparel providers and fashion apparel merchandisers.
   

Rob Zachow
Director, Customer and Trade Relations
Bracco Diagnostics Inc.

Rob Zachow is the Director of Customer and Trade Relations with Bracco Diagnostics Inc. His responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic and value-added programs within his Group Trade Relations area to improve supply chain dynamics. He is part of the Department of Operations & IS. Prior to this position, Zachow worked for Winthrop Laboratories (now part of Sanofi Labs) in various sales and training positions.  In 1995, Zachow joined Bracco Diagnostics with increasing responsibility for Customer Service, General Manager of Canada, Trade and North America Logistics. Zachow earned his BS in Biology from Eastern College

   

Karen J. Ribler
Executive Vice President & COO
Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research

 

Karen J. Ribler is the Executive Vice President & COO for the Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research (formerly the HDMA Research & Education Foundation). She is responsible for overseeing all of the Center’s operations and activities. The Center, a 501 (c )(3) organization, is dedicated to providing supply chain research for the healthcare industry to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness. Prior to joining the Center, Ribler served for eight years as the President of KJR Consulting, a consulting organization that provided fundraising, research and business process improvement insights to the retail food and food service channels. From 1990 to 1998, Ribler served as the Executive Vice President and COO of the National Food Brokers Association Education Foundation. Ribler holds a PhD (ABD) and an MA from Northwestern University.
