eCommerce Task Force Participation Guidelines

Role of Participants
Working together is a core value of HDMA.  Input from all members plays a valuable role in HDMA.  To participate in the eCommerce Task Force, a member should have expertise specific to the Task Force mission and goals.  Members shall participate in a cooperative and active manner in the task force with the opportunity to create industry-wide guidelines and solutions.

Member representatives selected to participate on the eCommerce Task Force are expected to have the technical expertise to actively participate in task force discussions in support of the group’s goals.

Each member must respect other task force participants, their companies and the different perspectives each member offers.  Marketing of products or services is not allowed during HDMA meetings, and any such marketing or selling activity is cause for removal from the task force.  In addition, HDMA may request that a particular representative from a member organization no longer attend HDMA events.  It is within HDMA’s sole discretion to allow the participating organization to replace the participant with another representative.

Code of Conduct
To assure that all behavior at HDMA meetings and activities are lawful and consistent with the group’s mission, principles and policies, all participants must act in accordance with the following:
