Committees

Business Technology Committee
The Business Technology Committee (BTC) provides guidance to HDMA and its members through the development of collaborative e-commerce business solutions. The committee achieves this by studying, assessing, and reporting on advances in e-business; providing a forum for an exchange of ideas that identify, consider, and resolve operation problems in a changing business environment; and develops and maintains voluntary industry technical standards and guidelines on improving business processes. The committee is actively involved in planning and evaluating content for the Distribution Management Conference & Expo. The committee’s major areas of focus within healthcare distribution include information systems, operational integration, and the impact of e-commerce.

The committee’s members are composed of both active and associate member companies.
