The Association has committees as determined by the Board of Directors.
All committees operate under the direction of the Board, and the Board
has discretion to determine the name, functions, and duration of all committees
and their members. Committees can, and do, seek cooperation, support, and
help from other HDMA committees, and from HDMA staff in the pursuit of
their work.
HDMA may also establish Task Forces and Working Groups to apply intensive, broad-based
expertise on pressing issues that do not fit neatly into committee missions
or those that require continual existence.
How are Committee Members Appointed?
The members and chairmen of all committees are appointed by the HDMA chairman. Nominations are sought from all HDMA member categories and represent leaders within the membership.
