	HDMA members store 43,000 healthcare products in a typical distribution center from an average of 1,100 different manufacturers, keeping pharmacies stocked with the medications and healthcare products that patients need.
	Through streamlined, aggregated ordering and efficient shipping logistics, and cutting-edge technologies, distributors save the nation's healthcare system nearly $42 billion each year.
	In emergencies, HDMA members leverage their logistics expertise to rapidly deliver medical supplies and disaster aid packages around the clock to affected communities, including portable medical supply kits, 24-hour care hotlines, clinical software and more.
